¿Qué es el Hogar del Niño Jabez?
El Hogar del Niño Jabez es una institución sin fines de lucro basada en valores Cristocéntricos y llamado espiritual a la restauración de menores de edad que nacen en medio de un ambiente dificultoso. Así como el nombre Jabez (nacido en medio de dolor y no deseado) este ministerio se dedica a recibir menores maltratados, abusados y huérfanos. Cuando un menor no tiene a donde ir y siente que está solo y abandonado entonces el Hogar del Niño Jabez extiende su mano para recibirlos y dejarles saber que aunque un padre terrenal puede faltar, su padre celestial nunca lo hará. El hogar es producto de la obediencia del mandato bíblico de atender a los huérfanos (porque esto es la pureza del cristianismo y el pueblo de Dios. Santiago 1.27).
The Home of Jabez is a non-profit institution based in Christ-centered values and spiritual calling to the restoration of minors that are born in the midst of a difficult environment. Just like the name Jabez (born in midst of pain and not wanted) this ministry dedicates itself to receiving minors that are mistreated, abused and orphans. When a minor doesn't have anywhere to go and feels like he's all alone and abandoned, then the Home of Jabez extends out its hand to receive them and let them know that even though their earthly parents can fail, their Heavenly father will never do so. The home is a product of obedience of the Biblical mandate to attend to the orphans (because this is the purity of Christianity and the nation of God. James 1:27).
El hogar abrió sus puertas en febrero del 2003 y mantiene sus puertas abiertas con fé. Actualmente el hogar es dirigido por una junta de creyentes (cristianos) con fines interdenominacionales.
The home opened its doors in February of 2003 and keeps its doors open by faith. At the moment, the home is directed by a board of believers (Christians) with interdenominational purposes.
El Hogar cuenta con un equipo de trabajo de Directores administrativos, trabajadora social, disciplinario, ama de llaves y asistentes en turnos.
The Home counts on a work team of Administrative directors, social worker, disciplinarian, housekeeper and shift assistants.
Para el mes de Agosto del 2006 abrio sus puertas el Hogar Jabez #2, que sirve de hospedaje a Jovenes mayores de 18 años que por razones de edad ya no pueden permanecer en el Hogar Jabez #1.
For the month of August 2006, the doors of Jabez Home 2 were opened, that is served as a home for youth older than 18 years that for the reason of age can no longer be part of Jabez Home 1.
Durante el 14 al 21 de noviembre el equipo misionero fue a la Republica Dominicana a realizar la apertura de el Hogar Refugio Jabez 3. Gracias a Dios hoy en día este hogar alberga una familia de 6 niños, 2 infantes y un adulto.
During November 14-21, the missionary team went to Dominican Republic and opened up the doors of Jabez Home 3. Thanks be to God, to this day, this home takes care of 6 children, 2 infants and one adult.
El Hogar Jabez 1, 2 y 3 son una oportunidad para que usted pueda hacer un cambio en la vida de alguien que necesita.

Servir como lo hizo Jesus brindandole a cada niño estabilidad emocional, espiritual y física. Lograr crear una base durante los años iniciales con el fin de lograr hombres de influencia y valores cristianos.
To serve like Jesus did, covering each child with emotional, spiritual and spiritual stability. To be able to create a basis during the initial years with the purpose of molding men of influence and of Christian values.
- Colaborar en la solución del problema de maltrato y/o negligencia de menores existentes.

Nuestro Hogar se sostiene con las ofrendas de Hermanos en la fe que nos auspician mensualmente, también recibimos soporte de la Iglesia Casa del Alfarero, IBBC, principal fundadora de la cadena de Hogar del Niño Jabez. Our Home is maintained by the offerings of brothers and sisters of faith that support us monthly. We also receive support from the Casa del Alfarero (Potter's House), IBBC, principal founder of the chain of Jabez Home. If you desire to cover some of our needs of operational maintenance, you can contact our offices at 787-897-0827 with the Ms. Elizabeth Mirando, Social Worker.

Los niños del hogar han progresado académicamente bien rápido...
The children of the home have progressed academically very quickly...
Recientemente en conversación con Priscila Yudén, encargada del Hogar Jabez 3 en la República Dominicana pude compartir y deleitarme al ver el nivel de agradecimiento que el Hogar Jabez 3 sentía hacia nosotros.
Recently in conversation with Priscila Yudén, the one in charge of Jabez Home 3 in Dominican Republic, I was able to share and delight myself in seeing the level of gratefulness that the Jabez Home 3 felt towards us.
Sentían y cito "los niños se levantan diariamente sintiendo la presencia y la bendición de Dios vivo en sus vidas, sintiendo seguridad y viendo como Dios obra y provee los alimentos. Los mismos incluso han aprendido como dormir cada uno en una propia cama ".
They felt, and I quote, "the children wake up every morning feeling the presence and the blessing of God alive in their lives, feeling security and seeing how God works and provides their food. The children have learned how to sleep each one in their own bed."
Me ha tocado tanto lo que esta mujer me ha dicho. Muchas veces sembramos semillas y no sabemos cuan impactante es la semilla que hemos sembrado y la realidad es que la semilla sembrada en este tercer hogar ha impactado las vidas de estos niños dejando una huella bien importante, la huella de nuestro Señor Jesus, ¡un Dios vivo y real!
What this woman has told me has truly touched me. Many times we sow seeds and we don't know how impacting is the seed that we have sowed and the reality is that the sowed seed in this third home has impacted the lives of these children leaving a very important footprint, the footprint of our Lord Jesus, ¡a live and real God!
Por favor continue orando por estos niños y por el viaje que estaremos realizando proximamente para traer fotos y reportar todo lo que haya ocurrido.
Please continue praying for these children and for the trip that we will be taking shortly in order to bring pictures and report everything that has occurred.

Ya abrió sus puertas Hogar Refugio Jabez 3 en la República Dominicana con una cobertura a 6 niños, 2 infantes y un adulto. Estamos muy contentos de que hayamos logrado esta meta en tan solo una semana. Nuestra Iglesia estará sosteniendo las necesidades de operación de este hogar mensualmente. Gracias al equipo misionero que dió de todo su esfuerzo para hacer esto posible.
The doors of Jabez Home 3 have opened in the Dominican Republic with a coverage of 6 children, 2 infants and an adult. We are very happy that we have been able to reach this goal in just one week. Our church will be taking care of the operational needs of this home monthly. Thanks to the missionary team that gave all of their efforts to make this possible.
